ScriptBeam is local-first, has no advertising, does not track users, and does not sell personal data.

Data and processing

Scripts, chapter markers, preferences, and prompt position are stored locally and may synchronize through your private iCloud container.
Microphone audio is used only while Voice Follow or synchronized recording is active. On-device recognition stays on the device when supported; otherwise Apple Speech may process audio under Apple's terms. The developer has no transcription server and cannot access that audio.
Recorded video and audio use a temporary app file and are saved or shared only when you choose an action.
Nearby device identity is ephemeral session metadata used only for remote control, not analytics.
Purchases are processed by Apple. ScriptBeam reads signed StoreKit product, transaction, expiry, and Family Sharing status only to determine Pro access. The developer does not receive card or bank details.

Permissions

Microphone and Speech Recognition are used for Voice Follow; Camera and Microphone are used for recording; Photos Add Only is requested when saving a recording; Local Network is used for Nearby Remote; Files access is limited to locations you select.

Tracking and sharing

ScriptBeam contains no advertising SDK, developer-operated analytics, external payment processor, or developer-operated account database. User content stays on the device or in the user's private iCloud or Photos storage unless the user explicitly shares it.

Retention and deletion

Deleting a script removes the local record and, when iCloud sync is active, requests deletion from private CloudKit data. Temporary recordings are removed after a take is finished or discarded. Content saved to Photos or shared elsewhere is controlled by the user and the destination service.

ScriptBeam 以本地存储为先，不投放广告、不跨应用追踪用户，也不会出售个人数据。

文稿、章节标记、偏好和提词位置保存在本机，并可通过用户的私人 iCloud 容器同步。语音跟随及同步录制期间会使用麦克风；设备支持时采用本机识别，否则 Apple Speech 可能根据 Apple 的条款处理音频。开发者没有转写服务器，也无法访问这些音频。

录制内容仅在用户选择保存或分享时离开临时文件；附近设备信息仅用于遥控会话；购买由 Apple 处理。本应用不含广告、开发者运营的分析服务、第三方支付或开发者账号数据库。
